About us
The Cathedral Cultural Center is the Banquet and Events Facility of Saint George Romanian Orthodox Cathedral. We have been serving the public for many years, and have been called a “hidden jewel” of rental facilities in metropolitan Detroit.
Our facility, enhanced by a welcoming entrance lobby, is comprised of two halls, which can be secured separately or as one large space, giving us the ability to accommodate groups from 50 to 500 guests. The complex also includes ample, free parking.
We are happy to recommend our preferred vendors to assist you with catering options, flowers, lighting, cakes and pastries, decorating, photography, linens, entertainment, and more! Non-catered and “bring your own food” events are welcome as well.

METES HALL (80’x38’, 2600sq ft) has a more intimate feel, featuring built-in bar, parquet dance floor and recessed lighting. This hall is for parties of 50 to 140. Security Deposit: $300.00; Minimum Rental: 50 guests

ST GEORGE HALL (75’x59’, 4800sq ft) features cathedral ceilings, brass chandeliers, large parquet dance floor, and a curtained stage for bands, DJs and head tables. It holds 150 to 275 people. Security Deposit: $400.00; Minimum Rental: 150 guests

CULTURAL CENTER (7,500sq ft) offers a venue from 300 to 500 seated guests. A complement of enhancements and upgrades are available! Security Deposit: $500.00; Minimum Rental: 300 guests
